Happy 2015 everyone! I have wanted to write a post about New Year’s resolutions but have been pretty under the weather for the last week. Which brings me to my first goal, not just for the year, but long-term. I am going to live a healthier lifestyle. That includes no more dino nuggets (aka chicken nuggets in the shape of dinosaurs, my specialty) or any other processed foods! I will focus on actually cooking (which I hate, hence the dino nuggets) and working out more often. When one of my good friends text me on Saturday, when I was just starting to feel sick for what felt like the millionth time in the last year, to tell me about the Fit Girl’s Guide, I was totally on board. And so far I am loving it! I am shamefully just now learning how to cook things like chicken, but more importantly eating so much healthier due to the meal planning aspect of the guide. There is also a huge community of support via social media, so you have millions of women in your corner! If this is of interest to you, visit the Fit Girl’s Guide website here.
My second goal is to better organize my time. With so much going on, it can be difficult to even know where to start sometimes. And I am the kind of person that is much more efficient when I have structure. So I have decided that I will plan out each week, an idea that developed through my work actually. Because I work in sales, we are encouraged to create a weekly plan for the upcoming week, on the Friday prior. I am going to apply this same idea to everything going on in my personal life, by way of scheduling time for blogging, homework, working out, dinner with friends, and so on. This will help to make larger goals more measurable on a weekly basis.
What are your goals for 2015?
