Happy Labor Day weekend everyone! Who else has a three day weekend from work or school? I successfully finished my first week of school and am pretty stoked for my classes this semester! I am taking financial markets, which may sound super boring but I think that it will be really helpful for my job in finance. My second class is behavioral science, which is essentially a human resources class. This class will be much more people-oriented opposed to numbers-oriented like a lot of the classes in the MBA program, so I am excited to change it up a bit with this one!
Speaking of school, I loovve plaid for a cute back to school look! And plaid is perfect for not only school but also the upcoming fall and winter seasons. Plaid can be used to achieve so many different types of looks, making it a must no matter your style! Blazers like this one, a plaid flared skirt, or a more fitted button-up plaid top under a knit sweater give a preppy look, which is great for school. And a flannel tied around the waist is perfect for a more grungy feel. I also really like the combination of a plaid top over lace or a dress to make an otherwise very girly, dressy look more casual. For fall and winter, plaid flannels are so cozy when worn with an oversized scarf and boots.
How do you like to wear plaid? Thank you for reading!
